Established in 1958 by Dr. Vlassis N. Macris and representing a long family tradition of three generations of lawyers, the firm offers high quality and cost effective legal services in both areas of consultancy and litigation, with the main focus and attention being on the personal contact with the client.

The members of the firm are qualified lawyers with strong commercial experience, holding bachelor and postgraduate degrees from the University of Athens and other leading European universities. Emphasis is given to the non-stop legal education by participating on a constant basis to conferences and seminars in Greece and abroad.

The firm is a founding member of the Piraeus-based Hellenic Association of Maritime Lawyers

Admission to Bars		Basis of Fee Calculation

Athens Bar Association Piraeus Bar Association		In most cases fees are calculated on an hourly basis. Current rates range from € 150,00 to € 250,00 per hour, depending on the nature, the complexity and the difficulty of the case. Fees can also be calculated in connection to the value of the transaction or the litigation in question, according to Bar rules. In certain litigation cases, fees can be agreed on a “no win” - no fee” basis, as a percentage of the money awarded or collected.
